Coal Unloading Equipment Built for Round-the-Clock Operations
A thermal power station cannot afford gaps in its coal supply chain. From the moment a loaded truck enters the plant gate to the point where coal reaches the bunker, every piece of equipment in between must work without interruption. Truck tipplers discharge the payload. Grabs move coal from stockyards and wagons. Rock breakers clear oversized lumps before they jam the crusher. Truck-to-Hopper Discharge
Hydraulic truck tipplers that handle 40 to 100 ton coal loads. Anti-skid platforms and hookchain locks keep the truck secure during tipping into underground or surface hoppers.
Stockyard-to-Bunker Transfer
Clam shell grabs mounted on EOT or gantry cranes pick coal from open stockyards and discharge it onto conveyors feeding the bunker or boiler house.
Wagon Unloading
The same clam shell grab system handles coal from railway wagons at siding points. Grab weight and bucket volume are matched to the crane’s rated capacity.
Oversized Lump Breaking
Stationary rock breakers positioned above the crusher grizzly break oversized coal lumps before they reach the crusher jaw. Prevents jams and keeps the feed line moving.
Wet Coal Handling
Wet coal sticks to truck beds and does not discharge cleanly by gravity alone. JEHEL’s scrapper attachment cleans the bed completely after tipping for faster unloading and smoother operations.
Continuous Duty Design
Every machine in the coal unloading chain is built for multi-shift operation. Hardened pins, heavy-duty cylinders, and Rexroth/Parker hydraulics handle sustained workloads.
