Frequently Asked Questions

What is a stationary hydraulic rock breaker?

A stationary rock breaker is a pedestal-mounted boom-and-hammer system installed above a crusher grizzly. It breaks oversized boulders and coal lumps down to crusher-feed size, preventing jams and keeping the plant running at its rated throughput.

What SRB models does JEHEL manufacture?

JEHEL offers the SRB 4, SRB 5, SRB 8, SRB 10, and SRB 12.5. The range covers compact quarry installations through to heavy-duty mining and coal handling plant applications. Each model differs in boom reach, hammer energy, and pedestal construction.

Can I see JEHEL's rock breaker at bauma CONEXPO 2026?

Yes. JEHEL will display its SRB range at Hall 11, Stall K15 during bauma CONEXPO 2026 (15-18 September, India Expo Centre, Greater Noida). Engineers will be available for technical discussions about model selection and site configuration.

How is the rock breaker operated?

JEHEL's stationary rock breakers can be operated via a remote pendant from the ground or from an enclosed operator cabin near the crusher. Both options keep the operator at a safe distance from the crusher mouth during breaking operations.

Which industries use stationary rock breakers?

Cement plants, limestone and granite quarries, open-cast mines, coal handling plants at thermal power stations, and steel mills. Any operation where oversized material can block a primary crusher benefits from a stationary rock breaker.

JEHEL at bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026

“bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2026” is where the construction, mining, and material handling industries come to evaluate what is next. Held every two years at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida, the exhibition brings equipment manufacturers, project contractors, plant operators, and procurement teams under one roof.

JEHEL (Jaypee Engineering & Hydraulic Equipment Co. Ltd.) will be at Hall 11, Stall K15, presenting its complete lineup of hydraulic material handling and rock breaking equipment. Founded in 1995, JEHEL operates from a 1 lac sq. ft. covered manufacturing facility in Kolkata, equipped with CNC machining centres, a hydraulic test rig, and a dedicated R&D wing running SolidWorks and AutoCAD.

On display: hydraulic truck tipplers rated from 40 to 100 tons, stationary rock breakers across the SRB 4 to SRB 12.5 range, electro-hydraulic clam shell and orange peel grabs, Boxer series compact demolition machines, scrapers for sticky material unloading, hydraulic cranes, scissor lifts, and power packs assembled with Rexroth and Parker components.

Whether you run a cement plant, a thermal power station, a mining operation, or a steel manufacturing facility, JEHEL’s team will be at the booth to discuss equipment sizing, site-specific configurations, and after-sales service coverage. Visit Hall 11, Stall K15 between 15 and 18 September 2026.
